Matahari Beach Resort & Spa

Hotel Overview

The Matahari Beach Resort & Spa was built using local materials, such as sandstone, marble, pale manan, wood and bamboo, in traditional Balinese style and harmoniously integrated into the beautiful countryside.

The Matahari Beach Resort & Spa is a member of Relais & Chateaux.

Location

In the north-western part of Bali, on a fine black-sandy lava beach near Pemuteran, an area yet unspoilt by tourism, is where the Matahari Beach Resort & Spa is located.

Rooms

Guests have the choice between Garden View, Panorama View, Deluxe and Super Deluxe Bungalows. All Bungalows consist of two units and have beautiful marble terraces. They differ in location, size and equipment. They all have a two-winged hand carved Balinese door through which you enter the bed-living-room. The Room is decorated in warm colours with elegant and richly ornamented wooden furniture, a king-size Balinese bed or two separate beds and a parquet floor. With individually adjustable remote controlled Air-conditioning, IDD Telephone, Mini Bar and a Safe are discreetly integrated. Each unit is equipped with a marble Bathroom and a small tropical back garden with a shower shaped like a water spouting Balinese dragon, here guests can take a shower under the open sky.

The Deluxe and Super Deluxe Bungalows are additionally equipped with double wash-basins and bidets.

The Super Deluxe Bungalow offers another extra: a private pavilion in the middle of a lotus pond.
