The Athenaeum Inter-Continental's reputation for sheer professionalism in the organization of Business Meetings, Conferences and Banquets is by now well established. The Hotel offers some of the largest Meeting and Banqueting facilities in Greece, from the spectacular Athenaeum Ballroom, accommodating up to 2000 people, to the exceptionally stylish Athenaeum Conference Centre.

• Athenaeum Ballroom: One of the largest conference facilities in Greece, it can accommodate up to 1.430 persons for banquets and 2.200 persons for Conferences. Flexibility of partitioning the room into three separate meeting spaces. Provides the latest audio-visual technology and a stage with dimensions 12.4mt x 5.5mt x 3mt. The Athenaeum Ballroom, the adjoining function rooms (mentioned in the following section) and generally the entire floor on which the Ballroom is located, were completely renovated in September 2000. 
• Function Rooms: Two additional Function Rooms adjacent to the Athenaeum Ballroom, each has the capacity to accommodate up to 200 people. They are equipped with partitions that can create as many as three separate areas for private dinners, small meetings or receptions.
• Aphrodite: Newly renovated venue, located at the lobby level and it is distinguished by its natural daylight. It can comfortably accommodate events such as meetings, weddings and cocktails.     
• Daylight Conference Rooms: Located on the first floor, two daylight Conference Rooms-  Plato and Socrates- are fully equipped with audio-visual equipment and can accommodate up to 50 persons each.
• Athenaeum Conference Centre: Unveiled in January 1996. A unique concept dedicated to high levels of professionalism, with magnificent interiors designed by Pierre Yves Rochon. Located at the lobby, it consists of the Rotunda lounge, a main meeting room, which can be divided into three self-contained meeting areas and the Board Room. The Athenaeum Conference Centre offers full daylight meeting areas and the latest technology in audio-visual equipment.  It can accommodate up to 150 persons for meetings and banquets.
