The Sacher Salzburg Hotel is located on the banks of the idyllic Salzach river, with a beautiful View of the Old Town and the Fortress across the way and the Alps. It is situated in the City Center, 3 km from the Salzburg Train Station Railway Station, 4 km from the Salzburg Mitte and 4 km from the Salzburg Congress Convention Center. All the sights are within short walking distance.

It is a Luxuriously Traditional Hotel located in the Center of Salzburg near the river Salzach. In accordance with the tradition of the House, all the Rooms and the Suites are tastefully and comfortably furnished. In 1998/1999 most of the Rooms were being renovated! The individual character of each Room is formed with elegance. The breathtaking scenery of the silhouette of the Old Town and the Fortress Hohensalzburg gives an unforgettable impression.

Zimmer

Many of the 118 rooms and suites have been renovated and given a new design in the course of the past few years. The rooms are furnished in a highly personal and individual fashion and state-of-the-art equipment is a standard feature. Each room and suite has been decorated personally by Ms Elisabeth Gürtler, the Managing Director, with great love of detail. The view of the silhouette of the Old Town and the Fortress of Hohensalzburg is truly unique. The rooms feature antiquities and precious original paintings, marble bathrooms and the interior has been adapted to the historical style.

Single Rooms: With 25 m2 the single rooms offer all the amenities for single travelers.
Double Rooms: Starting from 30 m2 our double rooms offer luxurious comfort. These individually furnished rooms are also available with balconies and a magnificent view of the Fortress Hohen Salzburg and along the Salzach. All rooms feature friendly light marble bathrooms.
Junior Suites: With 45-50 m2 Junior Suites are very spacious and particularly elegantly decorated. In this category the hotel guarantee a view of the Salzach. Many of the patrons already have their own favorite Junior Suite with its very special charm as a result of its colour scheme.
Suites: All the suites feature a separate living room and bedroom. On 75 - 90 m2 here you find the most luxurious way of residing at Hotel Sacher Salzburg.

Roter Salon Restaurant (on premises): It opens daily for Breakfast from 07:00 - 10:30 and for Lunch from 12:00 - 14:00 and from 18:00 - 22:00 hours ( last order 21:45 ). The Roter Salon fashioned in the architecture of the Biedermeier epoque is situated on the promenade of the river Salzach.

Zirbelzimmer Restaurant (on premises): This Restaurant with a Terrace opens daily from 12:00 - 14:00 and from 18:00 - 22:00 hours ( last order 21:45 ). The wooden paneled Zirbelzimmer with its artistically carved ceiling is unique in Salzburg and a favorite meeting place for gourmets.

Piano Bar: The intimate Bar with Piano Music is open daily from 11:00 - 01:00 hours. It is ideal for a drink before or after lunch or dinner or concert.

Cafe Sacher Salzburg: The Cafe Sacher Salzburg with Terrace along the river Salzach is world famous for its Original Sacher-Torte. You should try it together with a cup of Original Sacher Cafe in a typical " Coffee House " atmosphere. It opens daily from 08:30 - 24:00 hours.
