The Chateau de Puy Robert set in its own beautiful park on the top of a hill aver the Vezere river and facing the siteof Lascay, the Chateau de Puy Robert is a roimatic cream coloured stone castle with two papper - pot turrets from the age of Napoleon the 3rd. Tranformed into 1986 in hight level comfort hotel-restaurant by Albert and Christine Parveaux, is member of the chain "Relais et Chateaux".



History

The chateau de Puy Robert is located 3 kilometres of Montignac. Montignac ! The discovery of the famous Lascaux Caves, by four young people, on September 12, 1940, will take out this paecefull village of the anonymity. It is the commune which is in possession of one of most prestigious prehistoric site in the world today.
