Cazaudehore La Forestiere

Hotel Übersicht

History

Since 1928, Cazaudehore father and son have accomplished the feat of turning a simple Bar into an establishment where quality is the only true description. In the heart of the Saint-Germain-en-Laye forest, La Forestiere with its two acres of grounds gives the impression of a family country home rather than traditional Hotel. Immediately you cross the sill,  a calm atmosphere of charming and elegant simplicity takes over. Everything around you is solidly rooted in tradition. Philippe and Isabelle Cazaudehore have recently refurbished the decor which is refined without being ostentatious, with a stubble combination of objects, furniture and painting lovingly collected by past generations. The whole establishment is entrancing: the Restaurant, Reception Rooms, Dining Room, the Hotel's Bedrooms and even the corridors offer a warm and relaxing welcome.

The Dining Rooms have been totally renovated to receive more light without loosing their cozy warmth. Even in winter the nature is to be admired. As for the marvellously comfortable Bedrooms, each is individually decorated and leaves nothing to be desired in the way of facilities: TV, Direct Dial Phone, Mini Bar, Strongbox. They are perfect example of the successful combination of charm and modern comfort.

La Forestiere would indeed seem to be one of those rare and special places in the immediate neighbourhood of Paris to enjoy quite, natural surrounding in the heart of a region with rich cultural heritage. It is the ideal place to spend a weekend, holiday stop over, seminary or family event. The Cazaudehore reputation is well founded, with a truly professional approach which ensures their customers return again and again over the generations, in a kind of family tradition. Whatever the season, harmony prevails. The English Style garden is a haven of relaxation and delight nestled in the surounding Forest. When the weather is fine what a pleasure it is to leave the warm atmpshere of the Sitting Rooms with their splendid fireplace for the garden., to sit beneath the acacia trees and relax surounded by the sounds and scents of nature.

This pursuit of nature continues in the Restaurant, where accent is placed on authenticity and natural products, in a well-balanced selection of products in season, not forgetting a hint of cuisine from the Southwest where the Cazaudehore family has its roots. The Chef Jacques Pactol also follows the seasons rather than fashion with his menus, prepared with meticulous skill.
