Jules Cesar Hotel

Hotel Overview

Formerly a Carmelite Convent, today the Relais & Chateaux Jules Cesar is a historic hotel full of character, which without forgetting its past, boasts all the details of a completely modernised hotel. Fully air-conditioned. The spacious foyer, the rooms, the apartments, and the dining-room, are all decorated with cloth from Provence, antique or rustic furniture, so that from the moment you step in, you can soak up the atmosphere of one of the most beautiful regions of France, the heart of Provence.

Location

When you cross over the Boulevard des Lices, less than 400 m away, you are in the midst of 2000 years of history. The town of Arles has been listed by UNESCO for its exceptional archaeological and Christian heritage: the Ancient Theatre, the Arenas, the Baths of Constantine, the Crypto-porticoes of the Forum, the Museums, the Cloisters and the Church of Saint Trophimus, The Town Hall Square, the "Espace Van Gogh", the Museum of Ancient Arles, etc. It lies in a privileged location in the exceptional landscapes of the BAUX, the CAMARGUE, a wild dazzling country where the sun and the colours of nature inspired VAN GOGH, CEZANNE, and so many other painters, poets and famous writers.
