Open April-October.... The hotel, built in 1988, was completely renovated and extended from 2002 to 2004.

Hotel Overview

The combination of the original buildings, kept in typical Mediterranean style, and the modern lines of the new buildings, offers not only comfort but also an ambient for relaxing and unforgettable holidays.
The hotel offers a very elegant reception area, lobby bar with terrace, Internet-corner and TV-corner, impressive, air-conditioned restaurant, pool/snack bar, 2 freshwater, open-air swimming pools (one with hydro-massage), wellness and spa centre with indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, Hamam ,manicure & pedicure. For sport fans a fitness room, a tennis court and a mini soccer court are also available. The enchanting children’s house, the playground and the amphitheatre, as well as the wonderful garden complete the portrait of the complex.

Location

Our hotel is situated directly at the long beach of Anissaras, 20 km from Iraklion airport and just 4 km from the lively centre of Chersonissos.

The world-famous Palace of Knossos (centre of the Minoan culture) is only 25 km away and the excavations at Malia, 15 km east of the hotel.

Driving directions

  • From the airport drive to the National Road in the direction of Agios Nikolaos.
  • Follow the National Road for ca. 15 km and take the exit for Kato Gouves/Anopolis.
  • After Gouves drive across a small bridge and then past the village of Analipsisi. Carry on for another ca. 2 –3 km until you reach the junction Lassithi/ Kastelli.
  • Turn left here onto the parallel road heading once more in the direction of Iraklion and drive ca.400 m until you have to turn to the right.
  • Now drive another ca. 800 m until you see the Kosta Mare Palace Hotel on the left side.

REMARKS: Hotel car park is on the left and right side of the road.

Rooms

The standard rooms, furnished in summer fabrics, are suitable for 2 – 3 persons and have balcony or terrace, bath or shower/WC, direct-dial telephone, hairdryer, Safe, refrigerator, SAT-TV with music channel, and centrally controlled air-conditioning (operates hourly). Sea view rooms in this category can be booked with extra charge.

Superior rooms are also for 2 – 3 persons and are elegantly furnished. They are equipped with the same facilities as the standard rooms, but have only bath/WC. Air-conditioning is individually controlled. Sea view rooms in this category can be booked with extra charge.

The family orientated hotel also offers rooms for 2 adults with 2 children. These rooms provide the same facilities as the superior rooms but they also have a separate bedroom and a living/bedroom with its own TV and air-conditioning.

In addition suites are also available with a Jacuzzi bathtub and DVD player in the living/bedroom.

Tennis
For our hotel guests that wish to exercise some sports we offer them a tennis court. The use of this facility is without any extra charge, it has however to be reserved in advance at the reception! We also offer Bats and Ball against a fully refundable deposit. There is no flood light available therefore our tennis court can be used only during daytime!

Mini Soccer
For those who prefer team sports more, our hotel offers a mini soccer court! Whether our guests wish to have some fun on their own or to take part in the organized games through our animation team the mini soccer court can be used daily from 09:00 till 19:00.

Beach Volley
Among the most popular team sports during summertime when you are on vacation, is Beach volley! Our hotel offers you this possibility daily ( animation Program)

Our hotel offers its guests a fully equipped Gym with all the necessary devices for your workout! There is no extra charge and also no supervision by a professional trainer, therefore the use of the equipment is at your own risk.

In the first floor of the main building you will find the lobby bar “VERANDA” of our Hotel. We will be happy to welcome you for a cup of coffee or Tea, a glass of Wine or Beer, or a Long drink, enjoying the astonishing view to the Cretan Sea, or surfing on the internet with your lap top.

Operating Hours : daily except Tuesdays & Thursdays from 18:00 till 23:00

Pool Bar
Next to the Pool and just in front of the Beach you will find our Hotel’s second Bar “THALASSA”. Come for a refreshing drink, a cup of coffee or tea, a nice cocktail, enjoy the beautiful unforgettable view to the Sea, watch the sun going down in the water, putting the sea and the sky on fire. Operating hours: daily from 10:30 till 24:30

Snack Bar/Taverna
The spacious and casual atmosphere of our Snack Bar/Taverna “ MELTEMI” just next to the pool bar offers the ideal place for our guests, to enjoy their lunch from our rich Buffets from 12:30 till 14:45, or to have a coffee brake early in the afternoon, from 16:00 till 17:00
 

Main Restaurant
Inspired from the Venetian Buildings seeing in Iraklion Port, our main restaurant “NEORIA” is an ideal and elegant environment for our guests to enjoy their breakfast or dinner, either inside, in the fully air-conditioned area, or outside sitting in the veranda with the unforgettable view to the Cretan Sea. Our Buffets offer Greek and international specialties, traditional Cretan dishes, fresh salads, all prepared with care and attention, always using extra virgin olive oil from the hotel’s owner own olive grove. We serve breakfast daily from 7:30 till 10:30 and dinner from 18:30 till 21:30
