Discover the taste of paradise in this idyllic 18th century Chateau in Vizitsa. The Castle was built in 1791 and was renovated in 1991. Many of the original features have been retained as the Castle gates, barred windows, hooks, the small turret on the west wing, loopholes and escape exit.

The Glorious Peleys is a family-run Castle Hotel with the hospitality of bygone days. It is named after the father of Achilles, the famous hero of Troy in Homer's Iliad, King Peleys, who had his kingdom on this mountain in Greek mythology.

Nikos and Maria Stereopoulos are journalists and advisors in Tourism Investments. They are passionate antique collectors and have lovingly restored this Castle into a luxurious private residence.

This magnificent Castle Hotel, hidden from the outside world has earned the European Community's award for Architecture and is protected as a monument. It has also been voted by "USA TODAY" as one of the world's 50 hotels with personality.

Vizitsa is located in a very green part of Pelion, only a short 15-minute drive from the sandy beaches and the blue sea. Ideal for Hiking, Climbing, Skiing, Sailing, Diving and Swimming.
