History

The original Hotel Royal opeed in 1896, providing accommodation for distiguished guests visitin the Millenium Exhibition. Spacious guest rooms faced the fashionable Grand Boulevard,already a symbol odf elegance and the city's main artery.Making use of the most advanced technology of the ear, the hotel offered thehighrst possible level of luxury, service and facilities. A luxury hotel which first opened for the Millenium Exhibitin in 1896, Where Josephine Baker, Heinz Ruhmann and many celebrities stayed at the time...

The Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal is located in the heart of Budapest on Erzsebet Boulevard, district VII. The Hotel is within easy walking distance of Opera House, Majos Theatres and Attractions, close to the main business districts and shopping area and only 30 minutes, 18km, by car from Budapest Airport.
