And the Locanda’s history has influenced this restoration - the wine production, that was a prerogative of the estate, has been taken up once again. In fact, the surrounding fields and vineyards are now under cultivation, and, with collaboration of the BAVA cellars at Cocconato d’Asti, THI can now offer its guests its “own” vintage, a worthy peer of other famous labels, the Barbera d’Asti Podere del Sant’Uffizio, a delightful wine. The Bar Climbing up the red bricks of the main facade, a magnificent ancient plant provides shade for the little wrought-iron tables, arranged among lemon and orange trees in their great pots... An enchanting corner of paradise for refreshing, appetizing breaks during the warm summer days, and in the evening, to the glow of flickering candles, a romantic spot for sharing an aperitif. In the winter, the unique pleasure of a cosy room warmed by a crackling fireplace, for sipping a cup of hot chocolate in the afternoon or savouring the full flavour of a cognac during the evening.
