Il Prato Villa

Il Prato is a property which once belonged to one of the most renowned estates of the Chianti region. This former stone built Tuscan farmhouse, part of which dates back to the 15th century, has been converted to a comfortable villa with spacious dining areas and interiors featuring a classic decoration. Two lovely terraces enrich the house, offering the guests the opportunity for relaxing "al fresco" meals overlooking the peaceful, well kept garden where the swimming pool is located. The villa manager is extremely helpful and available to please all guests' needs. She will do her utmost to ensure that your holiday at Il Prato is a totally relaxing experience. She is also a talented cook, willing to give you a true demonstration of typical Tuscan cuisine during the 6 days a week in which she will prepare breakfast and another meal (either lunch or dinner) at your choice.

The property has been equipped with an internet point, available for clients' use.

Located only two kilometers from the village of Gaiole in Chianti, Il Prato offers the perfect base for discovering the Chianti Classico region, with its medieval villages, its stunning landscapes and its worldwide renowned vineyards and wine producing Estates.

Do not forget to visit Siena in 26 km and the beautiful region of Florence in 60 km.

This exquisite Villa disposes of 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. It can accommodate up to 10 people, plus 2 hosted in a twim bedroom accessible by a very stepp wooden ladder. GROUND FLOOR Large sitting room; kitchen and further small sitting room with stairs to study/dining room opening on to the garden; large dining hall opening on to a veranda ideal for al fresco dining; bathroom. FIRST FLOOR Large sitting room with fireplace; master double bedroom with bathroom en-suite; double bedroom with bathroom en-suite; double bedroom; twin bedroom; bathroom (bath and shower); small twin bedroom; bathroom (shower only); twin bedroom accessible only by a very steep wooden ladder.

STAFF Cook service is included for preparing breakfast and another meal (lunch or dinner) 6 days a week. In Low Season the weekly cooking service is offered upon request, at extra cost.
