Quinta do Estreito

Location

After leaving the airport carry on, on the highway to Funchal. Pass the exits to Funchal, and continue above the bridge heading Ribeira Brava. Take the second exit to Estreito se Câmara se Lobos (nr.5). When reaching the crossing, turn right and continue climbing in the direction of Estreito de Câmara de Lobos. After around 5 minutes, in a left tight curve to the left, you will find the indication to Quinta do Estreito at your right. At the end of the road, turn left (already under the hotel) and you will find, again at your left, the main entrance of the hotel. Have a nice journey!

Restaurant Bacchus

The Gourmet Restaurant “Bacchus” at Quinta do Estreito provides a choice of two distinct atmospheres. It has a very creative cuisine and uses fresh products selected by the Chef Justa who carefully combines them with the regional elements of local gastronomy.

The Bacchus main room shows a decoration of warm and comfortable colours, inviting for delicious moments in a familiar atmosphere.

The winter garden is the non-smoking area and surprises with a spring like decor, also very charming and creating a fresher and more relaxed atmosphere.

Restaurant Adega da Quinta

Specially created for a different gastronomic event, the “Adega da Quinta” Restaurant at Quinta do Estreito is situated at the bottom of the property, with a stunning view over the coast, and serves Madeira’s typical country food. It also offers a wine cellar with barrels of Madeira wine, “ginja” and local brandy in a restored stone house.

It provides two rooms with glass walls of which one has the comfortable location just before the old wine cellar and the open kitchen with the fire place.

Cypress Bar

In a tropical atmosphere, extremely pleasant, this bar serves drinks and snacks at the pools area.

Vintage Bar

Located in the old manor house on the upper floor, this bar is the ideal place for an aperitif before dinner or a social evening on one of Madeiras warm nights.

The “Royal Tea” can be served inside or outside on the panoramic veranda.
