Hotel Overview

Stufvenas is an ancient site, which was inhabited 5000 years ago. The inn dates from Queen Kristina's time. Stufvenas is situated in the Orarevets Nature Reserve which, because of it's unusual vegetation, is of national interest. The inn's present day buildings date from the late 16th century.

Renovations have been carefully carried out so as to maintain the old-fashioned, genuine atmosphere. The Johansson family offers personal service.

Location

Approximately 35 km south of Kalmar via the turnoff from the E22. It is only a few hundred metres from the sea and offers a magnificent view towards Oland.

Food & Beverages

The Hotel runs a high-quality Restaurant with the emphasis on classic French cuisine combined with new influences and traditional Swedish cooking. Local products and specialities are served in the Restaurant that also has a unique and well-stocked Wine Cellar.
