The Fairmont Empress features 477 luxuriously ;appointed guest rooms and suites, with magnificent views of the city, courtyard or spectacular Inner Harbor. With a selection of unique guest room sizes and categories to suit every taste, this landmark Fairmont property is a tribute to classic elegance.

The beautifully renovated Fairmont Gold floor features a private lounge with lavish continental breakfast, honor bar and evening hors d'oeuvres, complimented by an attentive concierge team, executive boardroom and High Speed Internet access designed to meet the needs of the most discerning corporate or leisure traveler.

Room Types:

Fairmont Room: The classic Fairmont Rooms are furnished in traditional elegant decor and can accommodate up to four people. Each room has a cozy sitting area with two armchairs, some with ample space to accommodate a crib or rollaway.

Deluxe Room: The spacious Deluxe Rooms feature traditional elegant decor with large sitting areas. Excellent for families, these rooms can accommodate up to five people with additional space for a rollaway or crib. The sitting area is furnished with either a sofa, sofa bed or two armchairs. Rooms for the physically challenged are available in this guest room category.

Harbor View Deluxe Room: The Harbor View Deluxe Rooms are elegantly furnished and feature a spectacular view of Victoria's Inner Harbor.  Each room is appointed with two armchairs and can comfortably accommodate up to two people.

Signature Room: The Signature Rooms have been individually selected for inclusion in this premier guest room category on the basis of size, view and distinct characteristics. Capturing the essence of Victoria, each room offers a spectacular view of the Inner Harbor, spacious seating area and unique layout and design.

Junior Suite: Each of the spacious and luxurious Junior Suites is an open-concept/studio design, elegantly furnished with a sofa bed and distinct sitting area.

One Bedroom Suite: Each of the spacious One Bedroom Suites features two rooms - a bedroom and parlor with dividing door.  The parlor room is lavishly furnished with a sofa bed, some with ample space to accommodate a rollaway bed.Most One Bedroom Suites feature one bathroom, while few are equipped with an additional powder room.

Two Bedroom Suite: Each of the Two Bedroom Suites features three rooms in total - two bedrooms and one parlor. The master bedroom is furnished with one king bed, the second bedroom with two queen beds, and the parlor with a sofa bed and ample space for a rollaway. Each bedroom is equipped with a private bathroom and full amenities.
