Location

The Okiato Lodge is situated in the heart of the Bay of Islands. Just a short flight from Auckland International Airport or a scenic drive long a beautiful coastal highway brings you to the paradise. Set in tranquil woodlands and Gardens, Okiato Lodge gazes out across a glorious vista of islands and sea.

The Okiato Lodge consists of 8 spacious Suites which open on their own Private Veranda to breathtaking views out across the Bay of Islands. One is fully fitted Disabled.

Okiato Suite: X 1: King or two King single twin Beds, large Lounge, Full Bathroom with separate Shower, Private Jacuzzi, Private Deck.

Sea View Suite: X 5: King or two King single twin Beds, Lounge Area, En Suite Bathroom.

Verandah Suite: X 2: King or two King single twin Beds, Lounge Area, En Suite Bathroom.

Disabled Facilities: X 1: King or two King single twin Beds this Suite has been specially designed for guests with disabilities. The Lodge has wheelchair access throughout.

Food & Beverages

The Hotel Okiato Lodge is justifiably proud of its culinary reputation. After a pre-dinner aperitif or two in the Cocktail Lounge, guests meet around an elegant table for a sumptuous four-course dinner of the finest New Zealand food. Always varied, there is something to suit every palette from the award-winning chefs.

Breakfasts are largely determined by the weather and guests wishes. For some, coffee taken outdoors enjoying the delightful views is a perfect start to the day. For others a full breakfast will provide sustenance for a day filled with leisure activities. Of course, should you require a special diet, the Hotel's professional team will be happy to make arrangements to meet your personal needs.

Lounge: This large Room offers wonderful views across the Bay and has a large open fire for the cooler winter nights to enjoy a night cap with fellow guests and your hosts.

Bar: Adjacent to the guest Lounge the Bar offers 180-degree views across the inner Bay.
