From the moment we were welcomed by Louise, we knew we found the right hotel in Elounda. Louise makes you feel welcomed and an important guest. Anna, the Innkeeper and her daughter were so personable. I am sure I am leaving out other staff members names, but each person at Elounda Gulf was outstanding.
We dined at the rooftop restaurant with its beautiful setting and special twist on the Greek cuisine. The pool area was relaxing and the "private" beach made one feel special. The rooms were beautifully decorated.
I would recommend Elounda Gulf and I would return there. Oh, the pillows could be selected and the beds were truly comfortable.

The service was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. The location was nice but the sea of the hotel was not as expected, it was small with rocks, not very friendly for kids. Food was magnificent in every restaurant and the prices for hotel accommodation very reasonable. But the rooms need to be renovated, they seem old and not as a 5 star hotel rooms. Nevertheless the whole experience was very nice and we had a great time.
