Dimitrios Village Beach Resort & Spa is a hotel divided over several buildings, with a familiar atmosphere, an exquisite greek & Cretan cuisine which is certified by the Greek Tourism Organization and it is surrounded by green. The hotel has been renovated recently and consists of fully equipped studios, apartments and suites. It is situated directly on the quiet beach of Missiria, so it lies 2,5 km away from the touristic village of “Platanes” and 2,5 km from the romantic little town of “Rethymno”. Rethymno is known for its long sandy beaches, its picturesque old town, the venetian harbor with its exquisite fish-taverns and the outstanding fortress “Fortezza”; for its ottoman mosques with the ancient inscriptions, its archaeological, hictorical & folklore museum, its university (school of philosophy, social sciences & education), the venetian fountain “Rimondi” in the center of the old town and of course for its countless traditional taverns with cretan cuisine (which offer mainly biological products – and of also biological local wine and beer) & cafes, its active nightlife with clubs & bars as well as its boutiques and souvenir shops. The most common places for excursions in the area of Rethymno are: Spili (a wonderful village in the mountains with its historical fountains), the Arkadi Monastry (the national monument of crete), Plakias (a town in the south of crete with wonderful beaches), Preveli (a palmforrest that surrounds a small lake which empties into the sea), Argyroupoli (ancient springs in a mountain-village), Kournas (the only natural sweetwater-lake on the island) and Giorgioupolis (a small touristic village with wonderful beaches and rivers) and much more. As already mentioned the town has a very active nightlife, especially in summer there are lots of different clubs which can offer you the kind of entertainment you wish. Passing the area of “Platanes” – by car or taxi – there are several clubs which are situated directly on the beach and offer you different kinds of music and an amazing view on the beach at night. In the city of “Rethymno” – by car or taxi - you can visit beginning from typical greek clubs, over to classic rock cafes, irish pubs, jazz bars, discos and clubs.

Location

In between Europe, Asia and Africa, there lies Crete and Rethymno, its hidden jewel. Rethymno and its region are rich in archaelogical sites, monasteries and churches, venetian villages and for-tresses.

The apartments comprise of two separate room’s kitchen-sitting room and one bedroom. The kitchen includes 2 bed settees for extra people, electric cooker with oven, fridge, kettle and a coffee machine. The bathroom comprises of bath, shower, telephone and a hairdryer. The apartment is fully air-conditioned and has a radio, tv with satellite connection, telephone and safe(extra charge). Children till 11,99 years are free of charge.

Executive Family Room
The suites are designed in a maisonette style. The kitchen-sitting room is situated on the first floor and is fully equiped. With 2 bed settees for extra people, electric cooker and oven, fridge, kettle and a coffee machine. There are two bathrooms on each floor with jaccuzzi, telephone and hairdryer. The bedroom and the second bathroom are situated on the second floor . The suite is aircondinitioned and has a radio, tv with satellite connection, telephone and safe(exrta charge). Children till 11,99 years are free of charge

Studios
The room consists a fully equiped kitchen and 3 beds. The kitchen includes electric cooker with 4 hot plates and oven, fridge, kettle and a coffee maker. The bathroom has a bath, shower and a hairdryer. The studio is fully air-conditioned and has a radio, TV with satellite connection, telephone and safe (with charge).

Apartment
The apartments comprise of two separate room's kitchen-sitting room and a bedroom.The kitchen sitting room includes 2 bed , a fully equiped kitchen with an electric cooker including 4hot plates and an oven, fridge, kettle and a coffee machine.The bathroom comprises of bath, shower, telephone and hairdryer.The apartment is fully air-conditioned and has a radio, tv with satellite connection, telephone and safe (with charge).
