Hotel Overview

As soon as you land, the legend of Robinson Crusoe becomes true in a setting of 5 traditional bungalows nestled amid the coconut and palm trees.

These bungalows have been built in the purest Polynesian tradition while offering high standard amenities. Precious local materials such as ironwood, woven palms, bamboo, coconut, and local handicraft objects have been tastefully integrated in the design of these bungalows.

You will be marveled at the sight of the bathroom with its shellfish curtain, coral tiles, stone washbasin all surrounded by live tropical plants.

Indeed, an atmosphere of luxury combined with authenticity awaits you at the Kia Ora Sauvage.

At the Kia Ora Sauvage, many visitors have found the experience unique and unforgettable.

After a day of fishing on the reef with the locals, you may relax on the beach and admire a spectacular sunset with shifting colors mirrored in the lagoon.

When the night comes, your friendly hosts of this heavenly sanctuary bring you oil lamps because there is no electricity.

They also prepare your dinner of fresh local seafood and serve you under the twilight.

You will gently fall asleep lulled by the sound of the waves and the rustling palm leaves.

During the day, the magnificent and unique environment of Kia Ora Sauvage offers a great variety of activities to enjoy during your stay.

Enjoy a boat ride to the neighboring islets and picnic there or go fishing on the reef while watching the dolphins and harmless sharks swim nearby in the ocean.

There is also snorkeling, cruising in the channels, outrigger paddle canoeing and a lot to discover.

The accent throughout is on a return to true values, to a more adventurous life, within the most beautiful natural environment ever.
