The San Nicolas Resort is founded on the froth of the waves on Lefkada, the island of the poets, and is surrounded by the lush green scenery of the island, and offers a distinctive proposal for your holiday in a luxurious environment with a spectacular view and premium facilities.

The hotel is situated on the left side of the beach of Mikros Gialos Bay, just below the village of Poros, 26 km from the capital of Lefka and 7 km from the cosmopolitan town of Nidri. Access is most facilitated by the fact that the only island linked to the Greek mainland by a bridge is Lefkada (Lefkas).

The area is perfect for an undisturbed stay away from the hectic pace of city life and blends relaxing with physical activity, such as swimming in the sea's crystal clear waters or biking along the island 's lush hiking trails.

Location

Lefkada, the island with the sea of green and blue and with the verdant landscapes will enchant even the most demanding visitor. The island’s endless wellspring of beauty is easily accessible as it is the only greek island that one can even walk to, as it is connected by a bridge to the greek mainland. Thus, a stroll here is deemed necessary. Both the seaside resorts as well as the inland settlements, built within pine forests and olive groves, are heart soothing destinations.

Driving directions

By airplane:

Domestic flights arrive from the Thessaloniki Macedonia International Airport, and from the Airports of Corfu, Kefalonia, Zakynthos and Crete to the Aktion – Preveza International Airport (PVK).

By bus:

5 of 6 daily routes depart from Athens (5:30 hours). Telephones: Athens +30 210 5150 108, Lefkada +30 26450 22364. There are also bus routes from the cities of Thessaloniki, Patra, Ioannina, and Igoumenitsa.

By car:

Athens – Lefkada: 385 km via toll stations of Aspropyrgos, Corinth, and Rion. In Rion you choose either to cross the bridge or to board a ferry boat across to Antirrion. From there you follow the road to Agrinio, Amfilohia, Vonitsa, and from there finally to Lefkada (4:30 hours).
Thessaloniki – Lefkada: 420 km, via Kozani, Grevena, Ioannina, Preveza, Aktion, and Lefkada (4 hours).
Igoumenitsa – Lefkada: 120 km, via Preveza, Aktion, and Lefkada (1:15 hours).
